This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation by the Corporation of the Township of Douro-Dummer (the “Township”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals (“the Proposal”) from professional firms interested in the provision of consulting services for the purpose of undertaking a service delivery review of the current Building & By-law and Planning & Economic Development Departments.

The purpose of the Service Delivery Review (SDR) is to quantify and improve the understanding of these departmental services currently provided by the Township, and those that the Township should consider for the future, and provide better information that will allow the community, Council and staff to make informed strategic decisions regarding those services. The SDR will accomplish this by investigating current services and how they are delivered, identifying potential changes in the type of services offered or new services, service delivery methods and/or service levels and recommending changes that will improve the responsiveness, efficiency and effectiveness of these services offered by the Township.
